WP5 Microbiome Composition
Our goal is to determine taxonomic and functional composition of microbiome in samples collected during the RAS trials and from the full scale industrial systems. We wish to answer how ozonation and hydrogen peroxide addition affect microbiome composition and formation of off-flavors. Additionally, our goal is to reveal DNA-based biosignatures for optimal and non-optimal RAS conditions.
