WP3 RAS Experiments and Sampling
This section includes pilot scale RAS trials, both in marine and freshwater conditions. Water quality data will be collected, microbiome samples and samples for off-flavor analyses. Pilot scale trials will include addition of ozone, hydrogen peroxide and their combination to study the effect of oxidant addition on water quality and formation of off-flavors in water and in fish (salmon, rainbow trout).
Water quality data and samples will be collected from the full scale RAS farms too (industrial partners).
